kite ku'theea(n), bu'theea(n); birasat baana(n) ||

Somewhere the brave fighters are being chopped and somewhere the arrows are being showered.

rxM fu`lIXM bwj KwlI plwxM ]

rana(n) ddu'leeya(n); baaj khaalee palaana(n) ||

The horses without saddles are lying in dust in the battlefield.

juJy joDXM bIr dyvM AdyvM ]

jujhe jodhaya(n) beera; dheva(n) adheva(n) ||

The warriors of gods and demons both are fighting against one another.

And the arrows of brave warriors are being shot.

The clatter of swords and the resounding of trumpets

The sounds of drums and shields resound continuously

And the horses running hither and thither have cused consternation.

The daggers are being struck violently and the swords are besmeared with blood.
