About the day and month of the creation, the Creator has told nothing to anybody.

nirankaaru aakaaru vinu aykankaar n alakhu lakhaaiaa.

The Formless One who resided in His own self did not make anybody see His imperceptible form.

Awpy Awip aupwie kY Awpy Awpxw nwauN DrwieAw ]

aapay aapi oupaai kai aapay apanaa naau dharaaiaa.

Himself He created all and Himself He (for the weal of creatures) established His name in their hearts.

Awid purKu Awdysu hY hY BI hosI hoNdw AwieAw ]

aadi purakhu aadaysu hai hai bhee hosee hondaa aaiaa.

I bow before that primal Lord, who is there in the present, who will remain in the future and who was in the beginning as well.

Awid n AMqu ibAMqu hY Awp Awip n Awpu gxwieAw ]

aadi n antu biantu hai aapay aapi n aapu ganaaiaa.

He is beyond beginning, beyond end and is infinite; but He never makes Himself noticed.

Awpy Awpu aupwie smwieAw ]7]

aapay aapu oupaai samaaiaa ||7||

He created the world and Himself subsumes it in His self.
