gur dareeaau amaau hai lakh dareeaau samaau karandaa.

Guru is such an immeasurable ocean that millions of rivers are absorbed in it.

ikas ikas dareeaau vichi lakh teerad dareeaau vahandaa.

Millions of pilgrimage centres are there on each river and in each stream millions of waves are raised by nature.

ikatu ikatu vaaharhai kudarati lakh tarang outdadaa.

In that Guru-ocean myriad jewels and all the four ideals (dharma, arth, kam and moks) moves around in the form of fish.

saair sanu ratanaavalee chaari padaaradu meen tarandaa.

All these things are not equal even to one wave (one sentence) of the Guru-ocean.
