dhekhat ho nirap sayaam balee; teh ke ham uoopar dhai pare ||

Those kings were saying, “O kings! he is the mighty Krishna

Apuny pRB ko imil kwju krY muslI hir qy nhI nYku frY ]

apune prabh ko mil kaaj karai; musalee har te nahee naik ddarai ||

Let us fall upon him and without fearing Krishna and Balram even a little, we may work for our Lord,”

They caught their bows, arrows, swords, maces, axes, daggers etc. and went to resist

They said to all, “Let us together wage a war and kill Krishna.”1184.

Taking their weapons in their hands, they fell upon Krishna

They drove their chariots and brought before him their army of four extremely large units

kab sayaam kahai at aahav mai; agh kha(n)ddin te nahee naik ddare ||

The poet Shyam says that they had not even the slightest fear in this dreadful war and rushed forward shouting “Kill. Kill”

“We have brought four such units in great anger, therefore, you may leave the war-arena and run away to your home.”1186.
