The family of the swans is of steadfast wisdom and they all live in groups and lines.

maanak motee chog chougi maanu mahitu aanadu vadhandaa.

They enhance their prestige and delight by picking up rubies and pearls.

kaau nidaau ninaau hai hansaa vichi udaasu hovandaa.

The crow there remains nameless, shelterless and dejected,

BKu ABKu ABKu BK vx vx AMdr Brim BvMdw ]

bhakhu abhakhu abhakhu bhakhu van van andari bharami bhavandaa.

The inedible it considers edible and to edible inedible, and goes on wandering from forest to forest.
