The Gurmukh generation
nwrI purKu ipAwru hY purK ipAwr kryNdy nwrI ]
naaree purakhu piaaru hai purakhu piaar karayndaa naaree.
Woman loves man and man also loves his woman (wife).
nwir Bqwru sMjog imil puq supuqu kupuqu sYNswrI ]
naari bhataaru sanjog mili pout soupoutu koupoutu sainsaaree.
By the union of husband and wife, in this world sons, worthy and unworthy are born.
purK purKW jo rcin qy ivrly inrml inrMkwrI ]
purakh purakhaan jo rachani tay viralay niramal nirankaaree.
Those who remain absorbed in the Lord God, the male of all the males, are rare pure ones.
purKhuN purK aupjdw guru qy cylw sbd vIcwrI ]
purakhahu purakh oupajadaa guru tay chaylaa sabad veechaaree.
From the primeval Lord, the male (the creative principle) is produced in the same way as by reflection, upon the Word, the true disciple of the Guru is created.
pwrs hoAw pwrshuN guru cylw cylw guxkwrI ]
paaras hoaa paarasahu guru chaylaa chaylaa gounakaaree.
Philosopher's stone produces another philosopher's stone i.e. from Guru emerges disciple and the same disciple eventually becomes a virtuous Guru.

guramoukhi vansee paramahansu gurasikh saadh say paraoupakaaree.
The gurmukhs belong to the lineage of the super swans i.e. they are most sacred. The Sikhs of Guru are benevolent like sadhus.

gurabhaaee gurabhaaeeaan saak sachaa gur vaak juhaaree.
The Guru's disciple keeps fraternal relationship with fellow disciples and they salute one another with the word of the Guru.

par tanu par dhanu paraharay par nidaa haoumai parahaaree.
They have renounced other's body, other's wealth, slander and ego.
