ik kavaau amaau jisu kayvadu vaday dee vadiaaee.
What could be said about the greatness of that great Lord whose one word is beyond all measures.

aoankaar akaar jisu tisu daa antu n kooo paaee
None can know His mystery whose base is only One Gallia. How could His long life be counted whose half a breath is unfathomable.
ADw swhu AQwhu ijsu vfI Awrjw gxq n AweI ]
adhaa saahu adaahu jisu vadee aarajaa ganat n aaee.
His creation cannot be evaluated; how can then that imperceptible one be beholden (understood).
kudriq kIm n jwxIAY kwdru AlKu n liKAw jweI ]
kudarati keem n jaaneeai kaadaru alakhu n lakhiaa jaaee.
His gifts such as days and nights are also invaluable and His other boons are also infinite.
dwiq n kIm n rwiq idhu bysumwr dwqwru KudweI ]
daati n keem n raati dihu baysoumaaru daataaru khudaaee.
Indescribable is the position of the Lord, the master of the masterless,
Aibgiq giq AnwQ nwQ AkQ kQw nyiq nyiq AlweI ]
abigati gati anaad naad akad kadaa nayti nayti alaaee.
And His unnarratable story can only be concluded by saying neti neti (this is not, this not).
Awid purKu Awdysu krweI ]16]
aadi purakhu aadaysu karaaee ||16||
Worthy of salutation is only that primeval Lord.
