hau ar sayaam sa(n)dheepan ke grahi; beech pare hit hai at hee kar ||

hau icq mY Dir sÎwm rihE rhY hYÍ su sÎwmih mo icq mY Dir ]

hau chit mai dhar sayaam rahio; rahai haivai su sayaameh mo chit mai dhar ||

I and Krishna have been studying together with out teacher Sandipan, when I remember Krishna, then he may also be remembering me

dhai dhan pai ghano ghar mai; kachh dheenan dhetan naik kirapaa kar ||

He gives so much to the helpless people, he may also kindly give me something

e'ees lahai kidho moh nihaar kai; kaisee kirapaa kar hai ham pai har ||2806||

But I cannot say, only the Lord knows, whether he will do such thing with me.”2406.

sree birajanaath nihaarat taahi; su birap sudhaamaa ihai thaharaayo ||

After finishing his journey, when the Brahmin reached the residence of Krishna, Krishna recognised him that he was the Brahmin Sudama

aasan te uth aatur hui; at preet baddai kai laibe kau dhaayo ||

He advanced forward to receive him, affectionately, leaving his seat

pai pario teh ko har jee; fir sayaam bhanai uth ka(n)th lagaayo ||2807||

He touched his feet and then hugged him.2407.

lY iqh mMdr mwih gXo iqh kO Aiq hI kir Awdur kIno ]

lai teh ma(n)dhar maeh gayo; teh kau at hee kar aadhur keeno ||

He took him to his palace and welcomed and honoured him

bwru mMgwie qhI idj ky doaU pwien DYÍ crnwimRq lIno ]

baar ma(n)gai tahee dhij ke; dhouoo pain dhaivai charanaamirat leeno ||

He caused water to be brought, with which he washed the feet of the Brahmin, he also drank the washings of the feet

JOprI qy ieh TW hir jU sB kMcn ko pun mMdr kIno ]

jhauaparee te ieh thaa(n) har joo; sabh ka(n)chan ko pun ma(n)dhar keeno ||

On the other side, he transformed his hut into a palace

tau na sakio su bidhaa kar bi'pahi; sayaam bhanai teh ra(n)ch na dheeno ||2808||

Doing all this, he bade farewell to the Brahmin and apparently, he did not give him anything.2408.
