kw ibD gwvq hY gun byd suno qum qy suk ieau ijX AweI ]

kaa bidh gaavat hai gun bedha; suno tum te suk iau jiy aaiee ||

iqAwig sBY Pun Dwm kY lwlc sÎwm BnY pRB kI jsqweI ]

tiaag sabhai fun dhaam kai laalacha; sayaam bhanai prabh kee jasataiee ||

“O king! listen, how the Vedas eulogise Him and sing the praises of the Lord causing the relinquishment of all the domestic temptations

ieau gun gwvq byd suno qum rMg n rUp lKXo kCU jweI ]

eiau gun gaavat bedh suno tuma; ra(n)g na roop lakhayo kachhoo jaiee ||

The Vedas says that the form and colour of that Lord are invisible. O king! I have never given you such an instruction

eiau su kabai na kahai nirap saua; nirap saach ridhe apane thaharaiee ||2448||

Therefore abide this instruction in your mind.”2248.

ra(n)g na rekh abhekh sadhaa prabha; a(n)t na aavat hai ju bata'iyai ||

That Lord has no form, no colour, no garb and no end

caudhU lokn mY ijhko idn rYn sdw jsu kyvl g`ieXY ]

chaudhahoo lokan mai jihako; dhin rain sadhaa jas keval ga'iyai ||

His praises are sung in all the fourteen worlds day and night

igAwnibKY Aru iDAwn ibKY iesnwn ibKY rs mY icq k`ieXY ]

giaanabikhai ar dhiaan bikhai; isanaan bikhai ras mai chit ka'iyai ||

His love should be kept in mind in meditation, spiritual pursuits and in the bath

bedh japai jeh ko, teh jaap sadhaa kareeyai; nirap yau sun la'iyai ||2449||

O king! He, whom the Vedas remember, He should always be remembered.”2449.

jaeh kee dheh sadhaa gun gaavata; sayaam joo ke sa(n)g bheenee ||

qwih ipqw hmry sMg bwq khI iqh qy hm hUM sun lInI ]

taeh pitaa hamare sa(n)g baat kahee; teh te ham hoo(n) sun leenee ||

The Lord, whose praises are sung with love by all, my father (Vyas) also used to sing His praises which I have heard

jaap japai sabh hee hariko; su japai neh jeh kee mat heenee ||

qwih sdw ruc so jpIAY inRp kO sukdyv iehY mq dInI ]2450]

taeh sadhaa ruch so japeeaai; nirap kau sukadhev ihai mat dheenee ||2450||

Those who are of very low intellect, they only do not remember Him, “in this way Shukdev addressed the king, “O king! that Lord should always be remembered with love.”2450.

kasat ke'ee jo na aavat hai kari; sees jataa dhare haath na aavai ||

He, who is not realized on enduring many sufferings and wearing mattered locks

ibidAw pVy kVy qp sO Aru jo idRg mUMd koaU gun gwvY ]

bidhiaa pare kare tap saua; ar jo dhirag moo(n)dh kouoo gun gaavai ||

Who is not realised by getting education, by performing austerities and closing the eyes

bIn bjwie su inR`q idKwie bqwie Bly hir lok irJwvY ]

been bajai su nira't dhikhai; batai bhale har lok rijhaavai ||

And who cannot be pleased by playing upon several types of musical instruments and by dancing

pyRm ibnw kr mo nhI Awvq bRhm hU so ijh Byd n pwvY ]2451]

peram binaa kar mo nahee aavata; braham hoo so jeh bhedh na paavai ||2451||

That Brahman cannot be realized by anyone without love.2451.

Koj rhY riv sy sis sy iqh ko iqh ko kCu AMq n AwXo ]

khoj rahai rav se sas se teh ko; teh ko kachh a(n)t na aayo ||

He is being searched by Surya and Chandra, but they could not know his mystery

rudR qy pwr n p``ieXq jwih ko byd skY nih Byd bqwXo ]

rudhr te paar na pa''iyat jaeh ko; bedh sakai neh bhedh bataayo ||

Even the ascetic like Rudra (Shiva) and also Vedas could not know His mystery

nwrd qMUbr lY kr bIn Bly ibD soN hir ky gun gwXo ]

naaradh ta(n)oobar lai kar beena; bhale bidh so(n) har ke gun gaayo ||

Narada also sings His praises on his Vina (lyre), but according to the poet Shyam

sÎwm BnY ibn pyRm kIey ibRjnwiek so ibRjnwiek pwXo ]2452]

sayaam bhanai bin peram ke'ee; birajanaik so birajanaik paayo ||2452||

Without love none could realise Krishna as Lord-God.2452.
